Diabolik Lovers: Moonfall - Demo

Diabolik Lovers started as a visual novel in 2012. Over the years the frenchise by the company Rejet realised serveral games, drama CD's and two anime sessions. I decided serval years ago to start a Fangame in the style of the Diabolik Lovers anime. That's how Diabolik Lovers Moonfall was born. By now my Fangame has about 20.000 + words and the first chapters are out. I also started redoing the Visual Novel in Renpy. Altho I am still learing the software...
Summary: The great Vampire King Karl Heinz Sakamaki found a young woman without memory of her past. He claimed that she was a vampire from a nobel family and offered her to stay with him. The young woman changed her name and country to live with the family of Karl Heinz. Many years later her now adoptiv father has a unethical request towards the woman, now named Akiza.
Content Warning: strong language, suggestive themes, drug use, suicide, violence & blood. This game is intended for 18+ audiences.

I was looking up if DL was available for PC, since I've never played it but would like to (sadly the answer is no), and came across this. The art looks amazing! I love dating sims/otomes and while I can't download this at the moment, I certainly will soon! It looks great. If you need help with coding, there is a Ren'Py reddit. I code myself and am also very much so a beginner, but people on there are super helpful. Good luck and keep going! You can do it.

Thank you! I made it myself useing the OG diabolik lovers logos. I also made a halloween speacial with the same technique.

(Btw, I know there are some VNs for DL like, dark fate, chaos lineage etc. but this is just pure talent)
Honestly, I hope you can probably continue this and release it to multiple websites and get some more recognition! you could become a whole otome game creator at this rate.

thank you so much for the praise :D Yes, as you said there are otome games about Diabolik lovers. In fact the series started with the CDs and the Otome game... I Made the GUi so it matched the Gui of the newer games.
When it comes to Kou... I will add a few flirty scenes with him in the Azusa and Yuma route but not a route, sorry :C At this point I need to focus on the 4 (5 if I decide to add Laito) routes.
Hi! You're welcome, you deserve the praise! You did great on creating it with the GUI's to match the current day VNs, For Kou, I understand that it can be quite hard to write and code so yeah, at least there are some scenes with him in it :). And I cant wait for the full game to be released :3

Oh wow thank you! O_O... this project was originally for myself only so I could learn coding and all the stuff for VNs... And well the multiple routes are in the far future, some might never happen tho... I am not that good at writing so I focused on making the art accurate to the anime style. I am glad that you like it's style. After my project the shades of red, I will continue working in dl moonfall more. ;3
I made an account just to comment, for years I’ve searched for something like this. Tbh DL as a plot was lacking severely imo, if you ever need help I’ve studied other references perhaps we can improve on the original. Something like a slightly more relatable FL. Nevertheless, both of the arts are so appetizing.
